The World Youth Leadership Conference (WYLC) 2026 will take place in Singapore on 15–16 January 2026. As you prepare for this transformative global event, it is important to understand the visa requirements and travel procedures for entering Singapore.
Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of many countries can enter Singapore without a visa for short visits of up to 30 or 90 days, depending on nationality.
Visa on Arrival: Singapore does not generally offer visas on arrival. Travelers from visa-required countries must apply before traveling.
Visa-Required Nationals: Some nationalities must apply for a visa in advance. To confirm if you need one, please check your eligibility with the nearest Singapore embassy or consulate.
Conference/Business Visa – Suitable for participants attending WYLC as official delegates, speakers, or panelists.
Tourist Visa – For those attending the conference as participants and extending their stay for travel or leisure.
If you require a visa, you will typically need to prepare:
A passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date.
A completed visa application form
A recent passport-sized photograph (white background, taken within the last three months).
An official invitation letter from WYLC 2026 (issued upon successful registration).
A return or onward ticket.
Proof of financial means, such as bank statements, to demonstrate you can support yourself during your stay.
Submit your visa application through an authorized visa agent, Singapore Overseas Mission, or consular office.
The visa fee is SGD 30 (approximately USD 22), which is non-refundable.
Processing typically takes 3–5 working days, but it is advisable to apply at least 4 weeks before departure to avoid delays.
All travelers must complete the SG Arrival Card within three days before entering Singapore. This is an online declaration that includes travel and health information. It is free of charge and can be submitted via the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website or the MyICA mobile app.
Please note: The SG Arrival Card is not a visa. It is mandatory for all travelers, even those not requiring a visa.
Singapore no longer issues traditional visa stamps. If approved, you will receive an electronic visit pass (e-Pass) via email, which must be presented on arrival. Immigration officers will confirm your duration of stay upon entry.
Apply for your visa and complete your SG Arrival Card well in advance.
Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages for immigration clearance.
Keep both your e-Pass and SG Arrival Card confirmation email ready when traveling.
WYLC organizers will issue your official invitation letter after registration to support your visa application.
Singapore is a welcoming and well-connected hub, making it an ideal location for WYLC 2026. With proper preparation, your visa process will be smooth, allowing you to focus on the real purpose of your journey: connecting with global youth leaders, sharing ideas, and shaping a brighter future.
